Terms of Service
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of Immortal Chess and related online services provided by Arcane Square Games ("we", "us", or "our"). By creating an account, downloading, or using our services, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use our services.
Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old to use Immortal Chess. If you are under the age required to consent in your country, you may use the service only with permission from a parent or legal guardian who accepts these Terms on your behalf.
Your account
You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and for activity that occurs under it. Provide accurate information when registering and notify us promptly if you believe your account has been compromised.
We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, create risk for other players, or interfere with the operation of the service.
License to use the service
We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to access and use Immortal Chess for personal, non-commercial entertainment, subject to these Terms and applicable platform rules (such as Apple App Store or Google Play policies).
You may not:
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract source code except where law allows
- Use cheats, exploits, automation, or unauthorized third-party tools
- Harass, abuse, or harm other players
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems or other accounts
- Sell, rent, or transfer your account or in-game items outside permitted platform flows
- Use the service for unlawful purposes
In-game purchases and virtual items
Immortal Chess may offer optional in-app purchases or virtual currency and items. Purchases are processed by the platform provider (for example Apple or Google) and are subject to that provider's payment terms and refund policies.
Virtual items have no real-world monetary value, are not transferable except as we allow, and may be modified, balanced, or removed as part of game updates.
Online play and conduct
Online features depend on network availability and may change over time. We do not guarantee uninterrupted access, specific matchmaking outcomes, or permanent availability of any feature.
You agree to play fairly and respect other players. We may take action against accounts involved in cheating, toxic behavior, or abuse of reporting systems.
Intellectual property
Immortal Chess, including its art, code, audio, trademarks, and other content, is owned by Arcane Square Games or its licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws. These Terms do not grant you ownership of any game content.
User content
If you submit content through the service (such as display names or support messages), you grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive license to use, display, and process that content as needed to operate and improve the service. You represent that you have the right to provide such content and that it does not violate others' rights or applicable law.
Termination
You may stop using the service at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you breach these Terms or if we discontinue the service. Sections that by nature should survive termination will continue to apply.
Disclaimer
The service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement, to the fullest extent permitted by law.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Arcane Square Games will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising from your use of the service.
Our total liability for any claim relating to the service will not exceed the greater of the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim or fifty US dollars (USD $50), except where law requires otherwise.
Changes to the service and these Terms
We may update Immortal Chess and these Terms from time to time. Continued use after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms. We will post the current version on this page and update the "Last updated" date above.
Third-party services
The service may integrate with third-party sign-in, payment, or social platforms. Your use of those services is governed by their own terms and privacy policies. See our Privacy Policy for how we handle personal data.
